NET HOSPITAL

The development and use of wearable sensors for the continuous and remote monitoring of patients has made the possibility of creating multidisciplinary teleassistance networks concrete: Technoscience's NET HOSPITAL is an example of this.
It was created with the aim of bringing together structures that can be functionally aggregated, even if located in different locations, through an online platform, a sophisticated program for managing and sharing the file and all diagnostic-therapeutic activities (from acceptance to discharge):

  1. The “Technoscience Collaboration”, a proprietary multifunctional platform for telemedicine (Teleconsultation, Telemonitoring, Telereporting, Teleassistance, dedicated rooms, document sharing, collaborative workspaces, enabling devices, integrated solutions, etc.).
  2. The “GNU Health Stanford Program”:
    •Electronic Medical Record,
    •Hospital Information System.
  3. The "VHS. Virtual Human Simulator", a tool for coordinated scientific research, on a national scale and with large numbers, which allows the analysis of data from all hospital and district units in real time. It is the tool for data analysis which is made up of two macro functions: Patient digitalisation; Predictive Engine. Concrete and specific objectives are: Clinical training; Research; Diagnostic, rehabilitation and surgical intervention simulations; Clinical Prediction Support (Medical DSS); Support for prognostic and diagnostic decisions (predictive engine).

We are organising the NET-HOSPITAL Multidisciplinary Teleassistance Network according to the HUB & SPOKE model.
The concept of Grouping by Homogeneous Areas, used in the departmental organisation of the healthcare system provided for in Legislative Decree 502/92, fits perfectly with the needs of the NET-HOSPITAL. 5 Departments have been approved:

  1. DFN (National Phlebological Department) operational;
  2. DSL (Department for Workplace Safety) in progress;
  3. DLSM (Department for Life Style Medicine) in progress;
  4. DMFR (Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) in progress;
  5. DSB (Department of Biomolecular Sciences) in progress.
