From personalised medicine to gene therapies, from sustainable agriculture to the bioeconomy, from tackling rare diseases to new applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare, biotech is set to become one of the main drivers of scientific, economic and social development over the coming decades.
But every revolution needs people capable of leading it.
This awareness gave rise to Biotech Generation, the event curated by Technoscience – Pontine Science and Technology Park and S3 Opus, scheduled for 21 September 2026 in Rome, as part of the Rome Future Week 2026.

A collaborative essay devoted to the Mediterranean Diet, Italian food excellence and the value of food as a choice involving health, identity and responsibility.
Not simply a cookbook, but a reflection on the quality of what we bring to the table every day, the origin of products, food awareness and the relationship between scientific research, nutrition and the local area.
Starting with food, one of the most everyday and identity-defining raw materials, the discussion will expand to the new frontiers of the life sciences and the skills needed to support their development.

During the meeting, the vision and objectives of theInternational Biotech Academy, the project promoted by Technoscience and S3 Opus to create a stable link between scientific research, business development, technology transfer, investment and training.
The Academy is designed to train a new generation of scientist-entrepreneurs, knowledgeable investors and professionals capable of supporting the growth of the Italian biotech industry.
The project also includes developing relationships with some of the leading international biotech ecosystems, including Boston, Basel and Dubai, through collaborative pathways and dedicated innovation tours.
