di Roma.<br \/>L\u2019iniziativa ha riunito i principali attori dell\u2019ecosistema regionale dedicato alle Scienze della Vita \u2013 imprese, startup, centri di ricerca e investitori \u2013 confermando il ruolo del Lazio come hub strategico nel panorama biotech nazionale ed focalizzato sullo sviluppo di una terapia avanzata per il trattamento del\u00a0<strong>glioblastoma<\/strong>, una delle forme di tumore cerebrale pi\u00f9 aggressive e difficili da trattare.<br \/>Il progetto si ispira agli importanti risultati dello studio\u00a0<em>\u201cLocal delivery of hrBMP4 as an anticancer therapy in patients with recurrent glioblastoma: a first-in-human phase 1 dose escalation trial\u201d<\/em>\u00a0pubblicato su\u00a0<em>Molecular Cancer (Vol. 22, 129)<\/em>, che ha dimostrato come la\u00a0<strong>somministrazione locale della proteina ricombinante umana BMP4 (hrBMP4)<\/strong>\u00a0possa modulare la proliferazione delle cellule tumorali, riducendone la capacit\u00e0 di autorinnovamento e promuovendo un effetto differenziante sulle cellule staminali cancerose.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5272283 ts-feature-card elementor-widget elementor-widget-icon-box\" applicazioni cliniche concrete<\/strong>, integrando competenze in\u00a0<strong>biotecnologia, medicina rigenerativa e ingegneria dei biomateriali<\/strong>.<br \/>Il progetto prevede lo sviluppo di\u00a0<strong>un sistema di rilascio localizzato e controllato di hrBMP4<\/strong>, in grado di massimizzare l\u2019efficacia terapeutica e minimizzare gli effetti collaterali, ponendo le basi per
