The use of new technologies aimed at monitoring, controlling, optimizing and automating production systems has moved the manufacturing landscape towards a fourth industrial revolution.<\/p>

In this new paradigm, first and second sector companies are facing complex challenges that require the development of new organizational and technological capabilities.<\/p>

Technoscience fits into this context by supporting, with its skills in the various reference sectors, companies that need to remain competitive in a now globalized market, and increase the added value of their products.<\/p>

Fundamental in this process of industrial mutation is one of our flagship research, \"Porting 4.0\"; this activity is aimed at selecting the production processes that best allow for faster and more efficient processing, making them actively compatible with the industry 4.0 guidelines by adding some characteristics that allow the economic value of the transformation product to be improved.<\/p>

Its applications ranging from the nutraceutical industry, to food processing up to sustainable construction, determine a true \"Upgrade\".<\/p>
